The small one on the pipe??

That's a cheapo 3.5ml dct tank, I just stuck it in there for a bit of fun, didn't think it would actually fit, nevermind work properly!

But it works just fine, little fiddly getting it to close but other than that it's grand!
Thanks SuperNeat! Tell me, you being the owner of a 'murder' of Killers, do they leak if you carry them around in your pocket. Never had any problems with Cartos in Tanks in the pocket. Just wondered if the Killer was any different.

No issues whatsoever fella! You would need to seriously flood the tank for any leakage out of the 510.

Just ordered some silver wire and some wick cause the 2.2 coils that come preinstalled are way too high for me, need them at 1.5 max for my mech mods!

Heh heh, just to bring the thread down to the level I'm at.........10m of 1mm wick from Andrei. I figure that's about 30m of wick now for about 18 euro in total over the last year.

Got my Ultalite 4,000 mAh batteries from Ebay, but their nipple top type and wont fit any of my bloody devices.
So stuck with 16,000 mAh of vaping time and cant use it (ordered 2 and they sent me 4 :))
Can I safely file down the nipple or gauge it out, or is their a safe way to adjust it, or ???
    Pain in the arse

Yes I could but I would have to shorten every device I have to suit them, got 7 flat top and now 4 nipple, was hoping I could vet them somehow and use all my batteries with the devices not being touched (5 of them)

doesnt the spring compress enough, how much bigger are they

My vv Gripper wont close fully with them, it leaves a nice gap on the evic cap, though I don't use the evic anymore, it wont work at all when fully in the Zmax, Im assuming because the contact point is only a 3rd the width of the flat top battery and not making good contact, why the hell do they have 2 different bloody types that neither work well with all the devices .
Looking like I'm stuck, but might try filling down the nipple on one of them and see what happens

The Nibble may come off and leave a flat does on some batteries.
Chances are the nipple is hollow so you will just end up with a hole

Filed the nipple down and fits better, but bloody battery still won't work must be the diameter of the positive contact is not wide enough, wont work on any of my devices :(
Search back on for a higher mAh battery.

More mint choc from the Alchemist cupboard, 50ml 24mg ... cannot get enough of the stuff! It's my all-day. never thought any kind of menthol would be. It really is like having a mint-choc feast [remember those? ] and a smoke.

Also grabbed some chocolate limes. That should be interesting.

Not buying any devices or gadgets for a bit - the Vamo is doing the job nicely. I might grab some heads for the vivi and maybe even another vivi nova to have on the side. Best tank to date for me personally. Dry hit? what's that?? :)

I have to add, also getting quite fond of that Cigarrillo natural juice from houseofliquid, wasn't sure about it at first but it's fast becoming my second fav [mine has been steeping a few weeks now]. Will be getting more of that, 30ml bot almost dry.

How much bigger you after there is the 3400mah one for the evic.
How can the positive contact not be wide enough

    60ml el toro cigarillos.
    Kanger Protank.

Hated the cigarillos when I first used it but love it now. Kinda fool myself into thinking its better for me cos there's no added flavourings as well......

I know I've said I'll never try another clearo but I'm gonna give the Protank a shot. Seems to be well reviewed but I bet I'll hate it.....

Man, we are so similar.....I've been debating that iclear and Protank for a couple of weeks too.....took a chance on it though anyway.....I like the idea of a glass tank. Probably come on here complaining about clearo's again in Wednesday......'never buying one again' and so on....and so on....

Will be v.interested in your review of the ProTank Green. I'm keen on getting one before of the good reviews and the glass tank. As long as it doesn't leak or gurgle I'll be happy!

Was hoping for a 4000+ option, (or a 3400 that is not an efest) as I chain vape and none of my batteries last a full day. I have 3 Efest 3100 mAh, and tbh they are not great, bought them at different times so not a bad batch and from 2 diffo sites, and my evic 2600 last longer than any of the 3 efest by at least 6 hours, but they are cheap so quallity or longevity must be a downside of the cheaper price.
I have seen on one Irish site a 3400 battery (can't member which one) and dont think its an efest so might try some of them if I can find it again.

As for the positive contact, none of the devices will work with nipple top and looking into most of the mods, none of the contacts inside are exactly centre of the tube so with the nipple top not being as wide as flat top I assume its not making proper contact like the flat top, even the Gripper which works when powered up but cuts out after the first press.
Buggered if I know the answers, makes good contact with springs as you have it tight due to its longer length of nipple batt.

Heh...not a clearo fan at all stick insect so I might not be the best reviewer to base anything on though....

Hopefully it will change my views on them....the glass tank is a real plus alright.

Strange I use nipple tops in all of mine, Provari, Vamo, Caravela, Evic etc and not had a problem

Maybe it's just the type of nipple top batt I ordered of ebay? they dont fit the way the flat tops do, there is always a gap and showing threads and would damage springs to try and screw right in, the gripper wont close because of the extra length, evic shows at least 2/3 threads, same with the lavatube so the batteries I have are not suited to any of my mods :o

can't wait to see what you think of it anyway :)

I've seen a few people saying it's good but not as good as the evod.

    I ****ing hated the evod
maybe there's a clearomiser gene we're just missing

Ha, just picked up both of these from ESI along with a UDT-L mod, strawberry milkshake and tai bacca.

Really impressed with how the pro tank looks and it's a solid enough vape. Only using it with the UDT-L so I'd like to try it on a higher voltage/wattage device but so far so good. The main advantage it seems to have over the evod (besides looks) is that it has a flat bottom cap so I don't think it'll leak as much. The Evod constantly dripped out of the bottom no matter what way I stored it, sick of having to carry around kitchen roll to wipe it every time I picked it up.

UDT-L mod looks decent for the price but a big step down from my malfunctioning Vamo. Anyone have any suggestions for a reasonably priced Vamo replacement? I need something that can measure resistance as I don't have a multimeter and I'd like variable wattage as I've gotten so used it.

In general what voltage do mech mods work at? Never been too sure about them...

mech mods start at 4.2v and go down to 3.2v

ordered 10m of wick from andrei yesterday but no email back from him all day.. getting worried, i only have about 2 inches of wick left

The Vamo is a cheap as those kinds of mods come. You can get it cheaper by ordering from China but you'll have to wait ages for it to arrive and have little recourse if there's anything wrong with it.

Fresh battery comes off the charger at 4.2v, quickly lowers to 3.7v, plateaus there for a while and once it gets to 3.2v the vapes will be weeeeeeak, so charge it.
The UDT-L isn't fully mechanical and has a wire that's rated for 2.5amps, so 1.6Ω or 1.7Ω should be as low as you go resistance-wise otherwise you might get the wire to snap.

With a fresh battery that'd probably make a clearo taste burnt but once the battery hits 3.7v that should be a nice 8 watt vape.

If you're stuck I can send you some 2 or 3mm wick, I have a substantial amount... Send me a pm if you need it, I can post it tomorrow.

Still haven't gotten around to setting up the bulli, it's been on my to do list for awhile now:o
