    Didn't get a spanner with it? :(

Did you check inside the little plastic bag with the manual in it?
This is a very small light spanner.

Extensive surgery on my predator today, rear plastics and subframe off, k&n and carb off, starter out (its fooked) it needs lots of bolts, some new ball joints, I need to shorten the chain and check the clutch.

Its time my young fella learned to ride a 'proper' bike, gotta get it right for him.

500lbs and approx 50hp, should keep him interested for the summer;)

Watching scrapheap challenge at the moment, one of the teams is taking the turbo out of a 406 td and putting it on a v6 petrol!

Expecting dgt to wander in any minute:D

I'd have that TD making more power than that V6 :pac:

ANyone know anything about passat window regulators?
The brother in law failed his nct for the drivers window not opening. Just got 2 quotes to repair, €250, & €300.
I would have thought that was quite dear, but does that sound right to ye?
    01 passat.
1 guy told him he thought the window might have "popped off" as its failure apparently started while opening the window in a frost. That repair would be only 40. Haven't heard of that before, is this common on passats?

    Cheers.

In other news, this place is having a renovation. You can see (just about) in the picture there is a Renault 19 van, I remember seeing it driving about as a child and has been sat up since early 2000

It is now sideways facing up in a skip and looks rather comical :pac:

    It's still there :pac:

Is the amp priced a bit high if it needs tubes? Surely you'd be better off fixing it then sticking it on Dungdeal

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,728 ✭✭✭✭CianRyan

Yep, I was looking on the full site though.

Edit: for proper tubes you're looking at about €250 for the lot.
I know enough to know its only one bad tube but not enough to figure out which one it is. It's an intermittent problem I can't just keep swapping 'till it works.
Thought I had it sorted a while back but no luck.
Sooo... I don't have the money to retune it but I'm open to cash offers on it, if t it didn't need tubes at be asking €1100.

Had it on donedeal, didn't even get 50 views.
