    I also see that B&Q Athlone has been saved and will now stay open.

    Repainted a full house after a B&Q 2 for E21 a few years ago. Wouldn't touch it again. A lot of peeling around bedroom windows. Shower from the ensuite causing condesation is the only thing I can think of but never seen it with any other paint.

    Just to clarify this, Bargain Alerts users get 30% off everything at B&Q until April 11th?

    How does this work? Is it just Paint or Everything?
    I'm in the market for some new tools so this could save me a bit....

    They are where closing down, and are clearing all stock. Waterford are doing the same.

    To be honest there feck all available. i was in waterford and found it impossible to spend money even with the discount.

    I was only saying that their flagship store is Liffey Valley...in response to you saying that you didnt see anything worth parting with your cash for in Waterford...:pac:

    Some of the paint in B&Q Mahon was half price making the 3 for 2 very good value. I got 10 litres of Dulux Vinyl Matt in Soft Peach and 2 x 2.5 litres of Crown ultimate in Mid-Blue for €35 ish. This was Sunday so I am not sure how much of either would be left at this stage. I also got 4 boxes of real wood flooring which were down from €65 to €10 per pack. Will be just enough to do my hall.

    Have been very lucky with bargains in B&Q. Last year I bought 6 fully lined pairs of curtains for the house ranging from €2 to €5 per pack :cool:. Original prices were €80 to €150. I find that there can be great value in the clearance items.

    Yep we passed a big sign stating that out in B&Q Airside this evening.

    I got my up/downlight porch lights this way before.:)

    B&Q are also selling off lots of plants at the moment...50% off marked price..and in my case this evening 60% off the marked price.:D
