AH ok, would be better if they just said 'out of stock' - it's not showing that here at least.

I must have got the last one.

How fast is their delivery? I ordered tonight so I'm guessing the stuff will be sent tomorrow and I should have it on Wednesday?

Excellent. My duty free B+H are running out fast and I don't want to go back to spending nearly a tenner a box.

It's sent by normal post, so you normally get it next day, however that wouldn't be guaranteed. At the latest It'd be two days.

All of the Irish vendors I've used to date have been very quick. Either next day or at most 2 days and you'll have it. Thebestshop.eu [european, not Irish?] is also great for speed and cheap postage too. Expecting my Vamo from there tomorrow.

I just got a paypal email refunding me €2.50 because the T4's aren't in stock. Its a generic paypal transfer email with no explanation on it other than saying the money is from e-smoke ireland. I already got a mail saying both items had shipped 4 hours ago and they're marked as shipped on my account on the site.

A bit ass-backwards, although so is only accepting paypal, it's been a long time since I saw a site (other than e-bay) that won't accept visa.

Just click 'Don't have a paypal account'

Once your checking out with paypal

and then you can just put in a Visa Card details instead

    Simples...

Ah I see, so I could have avoided trying to answer security questions I set up on paypal about 10 years ago.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 899 ✭✭✭StickyIcky

Yip correct. It's the same I think on almost all websites that accept paypal. You can skip the logging in part and just use your CC details.

    Personally I prefer Paypal.

Scratch that, got an explanation email 2 hours after the refund. None of the Irish sites seem to have T4's in stock.

I'm not too sure I want to put anything second hand in my mouth tbh. And I don't really want to mess with replacing coils yet.

I probably won't order anything else till I try out the kit and sample juices for a while.

I bring my own fork and a knife with a spoon attached.

...I take your point but clearomisers are so cheap there's no real need to get a second hand one.

My kit arrived this morning, really quick service from e-smoke Ireland. Its a pretty slick looking device.

    VAMO!!!

What a chunky thing. Since all I've used to date are ego style batteries. It's a beaut, won't be using it on the bus any time soon though :D

Stuck the vivi nova on it, filled with some GVC and set it to 9w - wow ... now I see what I've been missing. Bliss.

Is there really that much of a difference?

In my opinion there isn't THAT much of a difference. It's noticeable but I think what's more important is finding a good juice and a good atomiser that suits you. All it really is, is a battery power delivery system. It provides power to the atomiser. It's nice to have one and if you have spare money for one go for it.

Vapefest Eire from ESI is lovely, tastes almost like bubblegum at times for me.

I have a spare mouthpiece or i can send it with out one. But correct I wouldn't put another's in my mouth.

    That was a bargain! :)

Massive I'd say. Especially compared to the standard ego types. With the same juice it's giving so much more of a hit. The twist is closer, that does the job fine, but in wattage mode the Vamo seriously kicks it's ass. Though that might be down to the vivi nova too, which is my first. It also feels great in hand, nice and weighty. And I got the 2 battery types so can switch to the downsized mode whenever. Really liking it. But I'll still be glad of my egos when out, was vaping away down O connell street today - wouldn't do that with the Vamo :D

I've also not had one dry/burny hit all day using it. Which is great! I swear every one of my other batt's, and I have 5 others now, deliver icky burny at times. Though it will bemore the carts/clearo's - of which I have many too.

I'm really finding the opposite. The vapour from it is massive, with the same juice, where I was having to pull much harder on anything else I got. DO you use yours in the watt mode? I find that much better than using volts. 7 - 8 seems to be the sweet spot with the juices I've tried in it. I also have it in mode 2 - which I read somewhere is much better.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 899 ✭✭✭StickyIcky

Yes cagey I use it 7-8 and mode 2 (rms mode) as it's more accurate. Anyone who has a vamo needs to switch it to mode 2.

I do believe it comes down mainly to the juice and the atomiser you are using. You can still put a cr@p atomiser and terrible juice on a vamo and a good atomiser and nice juice on the twist and the twist will win. However that's an extreme comparison. With the same atomiser and juice etc, the vamo is better but not as massive as I was expecting. I just like the vamo because it's get variable wattage so if you're changing atomisers a lot it you don't have to adjust the volts. Also I like it because the big vivi nova (agr, etc) fit on it well. Plus it has a screen and two buttons so you can see what's going on.

I prefer the evic because it's lighter and smaller and the 18650 battery in it lasts ages, plus you can see how much battery life you have left really easily. Plus you can get other body types with the evic. I have a black one on it now and soon I'll be getting a mini black one. In the future I might get a mini SS body too.

It could be that I've been dying, gasping for a powerful vape for ages? :D The ego types werenot doing it, all that leaking and messing about, dry hits, burning tastes ... eurgh ... the Vamo has just been great. In saying that, no doubt I'll be giving out about it tomorrow! :)
