Christ knows where that pronunciation comes from!

He must have access to Wikipedia !!

    Etymology

The word derives from the French word linge, "washables"—as in faire le linge, "do the laundry"—and ultimately from lin for washable linen, the fabric from which European undergarments were made before the general introduction of cotton from Egypt and then from India. It is commonly pronounced in English with a faux French pronunciation, such as UK /ˈlɒnʒəriː/ or US /lɒnʒərˈeɪ/ in the doubly non-French American pronunciation. The true French pronunciation is [lɛ̃ʒʁi]....

That peanut butter is really tasty.

I'm sure it always was, but my first time eating it as a kid, ripping the slice of white bread and sticking to my mouth always put me off.

That the Luas lines were probably named after stops on them, rather than just random colours: the Red Line HQ is at Red Cow and the Green Line terminus is Stephen's Green.

    The new galaxy advert..

I looked up (googled) who sings the song, and i got - Audrey Hepburn.. (click the speech bubble at the bottom right of the video, to get rid of the annoying red text)

But i never for one second knew it was actually HER in the advert.
    (using computer stuff)

I only copped on when i saw a music video in a pub, that had her poster in the background.. :o. I knew it couldn't be "the girl in the ad", so it had to be Audrey Hepburn.

Never realised what she looked like.

    She was a hot lass.

I didn't know it was meant to be her until my brother pointed it out the other day, it doesn't do her justice at all, she was an absolute cracker and that cgi thing is awful. :(

Not me but after a year of driving around with my boyfriend he only noticed last week that my car hasn't got a glove box. He thinks I replaced it to trick him or something and still refuses to accept that I never had one.

As far as i can make out, it IS her... using clips of old bits-n-bobs they have of her. not CGI..

    Don't get the glovebox thing..

That her face was ENTIRELY CGI in that ad, I assumed they just cut her out of some movies. That's a pure computer model! I'm stunned!

Not something I've only just realised, but the guy in your first clip is George Peppard, AKA, John "Hannibal" "I love it when a plan comes together" Smith from the A-TEAM.

(the clip, btw, is from "Breakfast at Tiffanys")

Well then that's something I only just realised :P jaysus I think she looks shocking in it though, still don't think it does her justice.

I never had a glove box, there's a panel for the airbag where a glovebox might be. Its always been like that. Boyfriend only realised I hadn't one the other day. Didn't think it was that complicated, maybe I'm explaining it wrong.

Didn't know that either... Never saw the film.

May explain why he was apparently a bit of an a**hole to the rest of the cast on A-team (apparently)..

I read in some crap magazine, he always thought he was better than the rest of them. (Think it was my mothers, Woman's own or something.)

I'm sure there's a joke in there about "once you go Holly Golightly", but I'm too tired to be funny*

*Thats an excuse, i'm just not funny.

Yeah. something to do with choosing the extra cast, the people he had to work with, and he didn't like Women taking a lead character.

It may have just been a Women's mag, exxagerating, but it was definitely him..

also possible, he was a d*ck.

You're right, didn't like BA getting bit of limelight and had part in getting female co star fired.

I took advice from life cheats to make cheese on toast by turning the toaster on its side. It works really well. No soggy underside.
In doing this I discovered my toaster has a crum tray. Up to now I've been turning it upside down and shaking it over the bin.
I discovered two ingenious ideas in one go. Best day ever!
