About 6 months go I made plans for a winter build of a TT rig - not that I'd ever even ridden one before, but I was taken with the idea of something 'different' ........and a few false starts later, mostly caused by having to re-plan my frame ideas.....and she's finished. I already have two Ridleys, and it was only a coincidence that I managed to pick up this frame in early January. Some parts were sourced from eBay and consumables were purchased new.

With the help of purchases from a few lads on here, its built on a Campag mix (Chorus, Athena, Centaur) and I'm pleased with how its turned out. Its my first attempt at a build and was something for myself and my young lad to cut our teeth on. I like to add better wheels, aero seat post maybe and a better bottle cage, but budgets didn't permit at this point and they were 'sacrificed' in the short term at least.
For TT rig pics one of them must front on, at head-tube height so we can marvel at the skinny aero dissappearance of the bike.

My new bike, first time carbon! May not be at the 'beauty level' of some of the ones in here but I think it looks awesome! Going to upgrade the group set soon and get some better wheels! (will take better pics over the next few days)

Ribble steel frame? That looks fabulous. What size tyres will it take?

Yep, its the Ribble steel frame.
I'm not sure about the tires. I have 23s on it at the moment but I plan on putting 25s on it. According to the web, it will take 28s but I think my mudguards would be tight with 28s.

Taxman, let's see 'em all in one post. You must have some collection going at this stage.

Some are on holiday, but the full compliment is ten, six of which are mine.

Another is on permanent holiday, but it's not mine.

I'll make use of that panorama photo thingy on my iPod. I don't have a lens wide enough to fit them all in one shot.

Is that Matts bike that ended up on ebay last year from latvia?

My brand new road bike, Felt F5

    246713.jpg

Upgraded from my older Giant Defy 3! Full carbon frame, all 105 components, FSA Gossamer compact crankset. Quite a comfortable bike, the geometry isn't really too different from the Defy. I think it is roughly one kilogram lighter than the Defy, but the biggest difference I notice is in the shifting. The 105 shifting feels unbelievably light compared to the old Sora. I love the little details that keep everything matching the frame, even the little lids at the end of the cables are the same shade of red as the bottle cage nuts.

It's last year's model, thought it was quite a good deal at 1,600 in my LBS.
