    Agreed - I don't think anyone is buying King-Size memory foam mattresses for €1200!! Still, €249 is reasonably good value - although expect the Big Mickey fans to descend in droves to let you know about the KS memory-foam mattress they got for €149!!

    Yup... the only reference I can find outside 'review' sites and other social-bargain sites is on amazon.com, where a standard mattress is $199.

    The guy is a bit of a legend and getting cheap beds and matresses

    I've bought one of these SuperKing mattresses from living social before - very comfortable but memory foam are slightly different to "normal" mattresses in terms of how they feel. Actaully have as spare one (SuperKing) that I probably don't need - pm me if interested.

    You're not comparing like with like. The OP's mattress is just memory foam; the Big Mickey mattress you quote has 1200 springs in individual pockets with a layer of memory foam on top - an altogether higher class of mattress.

    KingSize Memory Foam was only 175 euro in Homestore just before Christmas.:D


    So 249 euro isnt actually a bargain.
