It's coming in at e1700 new, which seems pretty good all things considered. It won't be used for racing but I'm not overly keen on bikes with too upright a riding position so after something that can be set up kind of in between racy and upright. Any thoughts on why I shouldn't go for it?

    Cheers

Thanks for the reply. It's looking like a winner alright. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Maybe go with compact gearing if you're not racing ?

Cheers. Don't think there is an option to change bits around but think I can deal with any gearing issues and swap bits and pieces over time. Considering the frame alone retails for e1500 this seems like a good deal, if Giant's warranty and after sales care are as good as they claim.
