Vauxhall vivaro problem

    Whilst driving home tonight I was changen from second too third gear and heard a loud bang from the engine of my van as I was nearly home I decided too carry on driving till I got home.the van drove find but if I went over 2000 on the rev counter there was a strange whooshing sound coming from the engine.any ideas what it might be?its an 08 vivaro

    Sounds like its blown off/burst a turbo pipe.Easy enough fix.Could be just a broken clip/seal or the pipe could have split.The whoosh you are hearing is charge air escaping.

    Dropped it too the mechanic today so hoping too hear whats wrong with it tomoro
