Hey, just wondering if anyone that has used Invisalign could give me some feedback. At 34 now been thinking for a while about getting my teeth sorted but never been a big fan of the train track type brace. Seen an add on tv earlier advertising these Invisalign which greatly interested me.

I'd appreciate any feedback anyone has, thanks:)

Seems to me that in the correct hands these aligners (invasalign, clearstep etc) can works well for certain type of dental malalignment. Its finding the correct person that is the issue. Try http://www.orthodontics.ie/

I'm getting the fitted for Invisalign braces next week, told they would be perfect for what I wanted. Two whitening treatments (one before fitting braces one after they come off. The braces/retainers are not unlike a light weight gum shield . I will ahve to change the retainer every 2 weeks initially. I think I'll be getting a two month supply at a time-at least thats how I understood it. I'll have to wear upper & lower for approx a year then only at night after that.

I'll be asking though what is their policy re unsatisfactory results - dont want to end up wearing the train tracks after all this if its not guaranteed to work - costs enough !!!

Hi I'm just wondering how you are getting on with invisalign? I had my moulds taken two weeks ago so I'm waiting for the trays to be made..6wks or so..can't wait to get started but really nervous too..are they really uncomfortable? Is it really annoying having to take them out each time u eat? Can u eat anything with them in? Thanks

Hey sorry for delayed reply - busy week.
Honestly .....only speaking from my experience...yes they are uncomfortable & yes they do take some getting used to. Its pretty annoying having to take them out to eat but you get used to it. On the plus side stops me from snacking ;-)
You can't eat anything with them in but you can drink. They'll take a while to get used to alright plus if uve to get attachments on some teeth these feel weird but imagine if u had the "train tracks" Id imagine they're even more uncomfortable & u can't take them out.
Good luck...just remember it'll be worth it ;-)
