    The server seems to be having network problems at the moment, not much we can do about it except wait for it to be fixed.

    Issue with the server seems to be something to do with uploading information. I'm not sure really. Ping is fine and the map loads, but it won't register any chunk changes I make, or save my last position. It's unusable currently :(

    I've restarted it for now. I'll take a look this evening to see what the problem is.

    Can an admin please look at the FTB server? Some block/item IDs seem to have been edited/changed/corrupted somehow. They still show up ingame fine but as there's an ID mismatch between them and NEI/Forge they aren't recognised by crafting/machines and can't be used in recipes as a result :(

    I am getting massive lag on the FTB server, anybody else? It's pretty much unplayable!

    On the plus side, it looks like the Ultimate pack is out! :)

    Its just a tad buggier, laggier and generally less smooth than it is normally but its still perfectly playable for me.

    Been messing around with the ultimate pack, some nice additions to it alright. Especially Applied Energistics, means you can start doubling ores pretty early on (though its pretty slow)

    Is the map resetting soon? I feel like I don't want to build anything until the reset, as it will just be a waste of time! I think all these add-ons are going to require a new computer!

    My PC can barely handle being on. And yet somehow I still use it to Program and occasionally game.

    Yep I'll reset as soon as there's a stable (ish) version of the ultimate pack. At the moment there's still a lot of bugfixes and patches going on. Probably by next monday they should have a stable version out.

    The main reason I was playing on this map was to learn more about GregTech before the reset... don't tell me it'll all be completely different again?!? :eek:

    According to Mojang, 1.5 is due to be released on the 13th, and it adds a load of new stuff. Could be a good excuse to do a reset of both the Survival and FTB servers. Thoughts?

    I'd be in favour of a reset. Starting from nothing is one of the most fun aspects of minecraft! Fresh map will hopefully get people back on too!

    +1. I like all the previous maps and love to see them saved and downloadable (so you can scoot around them in Creative checking out everyone's epic work) but the only way to make vibrant new ones is to start fresh every so often and lure everyone back to the server :D

    One question: what will this do to FTB's update schedule and will we now be restarting the server before (1.4.7 with an updated FTB) or after (miles after, it will probably be ages before a 1.5-based FTB) the Vanilla reset?

    I agree, would like a new world to explore, think it'll revive interest in the server again too.

    Maybe change the title of the thread dec? Have this thread for both the survival and FTB server.
