scribbler and red devil ice pops.

chocolate pretzels (white or milk choc) were around for a while about 15 years ago. Cost about 30p. Now they've come out again and are about 3.50.

everyone used to go mad for face's hot lips. Not me though.

Last one, club shandy. 0.03% alcohol. Used to be rotten but I always still wanted it.

Oh my God, I've finally found someone else who remembers these bars, I can't remember the name of them but I lived on them, used to get them in Jimmys shop on the high path on Cannon Street before heading back to the Pres for school. I described them to a few friends and absolutely no-one can remember them, I was starting to think I imagined them!!:eek:

They were much bigger than a Crunchie, they were more the size and shape of a medium Cuisine de France roll :D and kinda rounded at the top. You could get them in mint (my favourite), caramel and I think there was another flavour (prob. honeycomb in fairness!).

Thank you for confirming my sanity, you've made my night :D

I was just going to post about these bars! They were amazing. I think there was a strawberry flavour one too, but definitley remember the mint one.
Does anyone remember Hellas bars?. I think they were foreign. They were a big bar of chocolate in squares, with a cream filling. You could get mint, strawberry and cherry flavour fillings.
I also loved skullcrushers, a white choc skull with a strawberry filling.
Dunhill devils, a jelly in the shape of a devil, it's head a different colour to it's body.
The 3p chocolate covered toffee mice. They gave your jaws some workout:P

Ah the smiley bar, delicious orange flavoured toffee smothered in chocolate. I ate these and a packet of super hoopers every day for my school lunch and all for the bargain price of twenty pence, my mam gave me the old twenty pence with the horse on it every day for my lunch.great memories

    Trigger Bars
    Texan
    Florida Fruits
    Golden Days Toffees
    Mint Eclairs
Jaw Breakers- The challenge was to suck one during class at school because you wouldn't be able to talk for half an hour until you broke through to the chewing gum centre. And you couldn't swallow it!
So if you were asked a question during class you were fu*ked

Texan Bars.....swoon. Had pic of cowboy on front...orange wrapper?? Loved, loved, loved them.....

these, they were in a blue wrapper? i've been looking for an image on google for these lol, i can't remember who made them. i can't remember what they were like to eat now, was it like a chomp? i thought it was hard toffee with choc on outside

ah the orange toffee bars in the lucky bag, i do recall falling asleep in my cot and waking up with it stuck to the top of my head. my mother had to cut it out with the scissors the following morning. i was like Alfalfa.

They were in a blue wrapper with an image what looked like Tonto and Silver imprinted on it if I remember correctly, with silver up on his hind legs. Nom nom

Cadburys made them, they were exactly like chomp, chewy caramel covered in light chocolate, I remember the chocolate used to flake off when you'd bend it - a bit like a curly wurly !

Popped into my local to pay for petrol last week and spotted them on the counter. Had to get a few for old times sake. Yumm!

Cola cubes and pear drops and the like but nothing comes close to Northumberland Fudge.

I've been looking for it for years but seemingly they've stopped making it.

I still try in every sweet shop I see but to no avail !
