    Ah Jaysus lads, lighten up.

    For those still confused -

    i) One person, usually masked, dances to the song while everybody else acts oblivious.

    ii) Bass drops.

    iii) Everybody goes absolutely mental in the most surreal way possible. Sometimes while the original dancer acts oblivious.

    My favourite so far is the Matt and Kim one, because Kim goes totally ape**** at the best of times, so that's neat.

    but we did something more akin to the Helsinki Shake maybe.

    i) All people, unashamedly unmasked spontaneously headbang. choreographed dancing is for gimps

    ii) Riff gets cranked up. If it 'dropped' it would mean we wouldn't hear it

    iii) Everybody starts a circle pit in the most natural, unrehearsed way possible.. the original banger is not oblivious to this and throws himself into the maelstrom

    It's juke/footwork, there's no riff. It's a drop. Your post is invalid

    That's just a mosh pit, I'd prefer to be incontinent than be in one of those.

    Having watched all the videos in just this thread alone I can honestly say I'll be glad when this shìte dies off.

    It's as bad as all the "Ah Heyor" dubbings and "parodies" of the original that people thought were heelarious altogether. They're shìte!

    Sorry, but that isn't juke/footwork. Try Resident Advisor for a good interview with DJ Spinn about that scene (it was one of the RA exchange podcasts) and try Bang and Works compilations if you want to know about juke/footwork.
