    Oh boo-hoo.

It's always the same, it's perfectly fine for Celtic fans to come in here mocking Rangers for every single thing but when it's the other way around you come crying ?

Well, big ****ing whoop, deal with it.
I take your side here tbh. It is fine for you to have digs back.

But when your digs are "you lost to Juventus in the CL last 16 after being one of the highlights of the competition" and our digs are "your club died and your new club plays in the bottom tier of Scottish football and have been knocked out of every single cup competition" well.... tit for tat eh :pac:

Oh trust me, I'll have my digs as well when you get knocked out in domestic cups :P

    I... I think I may need a lie down now :o:p

A meeting going on at the moment with Green, Sports Direct and fans.

    The Rangers Standard ‏@RangersStandard
Ibrox Stadium to be in name if that is what fans want. Mike Ashley happy with whatever we decide if SD get rights. Heavy inference they will

    The Rangers Standard ‏@RangersStandard
No plans for more RFC shops. Using SD and in certain shops there will be dedicated RFC merchandise sections.

    The Rangers Standard ‏@RangersStandard
Lease signed for shop at airport. Shop next to Celtic shop. Lease for shop in Belfast. Close to old shop. Megastore at Ibrox.

    SD = Sports Direct.

    What a goal by Little.

0-3 Half time two well taken goals by little followed up with a cracker from Templeton giving Rangers a great first half.

    Final score 1-4
Some sloppy defending gave Clyde a goal from Watt just after the break. Not long afterwards Templeton got his second and Rangers fourth with a nice bit of play and left foot shot into the goal.
All in all a good performance and it should be clear now to Ally that Little has to play up front

I didn't see the game today. Good to see Little and Templeton on the scoresheet, I reckon they're both pretty important in the long term. What was the defence like today? I've only been able to catch the odd game since moving abroad in December but from what I've seen we've been very dodgy there.

A bit better today young Hegarty and the Greek boy at right back seems to have tightened things up a bit. My own personal feeling is we should be looking at a CB and of cousre we may need a keeper for me Bell would be fine

Yeah, I like the look of Hegarty alright. Was Cribari any use? From what I've seen of him he's not been much good. Am I right in thinking that Bell will be on a free transfer this summer? Definitely worth getting if he is.

Yeah he will be and I believe he is a better keeper than Alexander no harm to him and he stuck by us in our hour od=f need but he id on 10k a week so he can leave in the summer. Cribari has settled down still prone to getting caught out of position on occasion but I see a small improvement there. To be honest I don't see how players like Jig, Sandaza and Kyle are going to get back into the team if Ally goes by form

Well I'm basing most of my opinion on the first half of the season as I saw most of those games, since moving I've only managed to catch a handful. I think getting Bell would be a massive long term boost. I've a lot of time for Alexander given that he stayed but if I'm not mistaken he's 34/35 and that kind of money could be put to much better use.

From what I saw of Kyle, we should be letting him go in the summer. That's if I'm right in thinking he signed a one year deal. I like Sandaza and think he could be an asset over the next couple of years, but haven't been too impressed from what I've seen of him. As for Jig, I'd start him anywhere just to have him on the field. I see Hutton started today. How did he do? I've always been pretty impressed with him and would definitely rather see him getting plenty of game time instead of Black, when Jig gets back.

Hutton has been outstanding in CM for me the only place we can play jig now is at the back he is to slow and lacks movement now. Don't get wrong I think his whole demeanor has been great and we should use him in some capacity at the club. But we have a chance to change a lot of things now so we should be taking advantage. Kyle in this division when we were playing one up front was the better option than Sandaza but yes he should be off in the summer

How do you guys feel about the Alexander thing? Offered £10k a week for a year, said he wanted 2 years like Elbows so Green checked the warchest and came back with ~4k a week again for 12 months lol

It's a bit of a lousy way to treat one of the old guard but sensible on Green's part to be prudent even in spite of the most successful share issue of all time by a club in the Third Division in 2013.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,839 ✭✭✭Jelle1880

Alexander himself said the story is rubbish.

But if it's true I think it makes sense, despite the fact that it's a ****ty way to offer him a contract that would start immediately.

It's a lot of money to be asking for though isn't it? I mean he doesn't exactly play in a vital role considering the competition you face, he's not that good and he's hardly one for the future. Surely you could punt him and get some youth in who would do the job for a couple of seasons?

If he goes and my feeling is he will it will hopefully be Bell a 25 year old who is improving and would be with us the whole way back

is it possible for you to engage in a normal conversation without having a 'dig' every single time? It's not even funny anymore. hey, ya slag them off like they would us but its incessant with your posts and not amusing tbh

Gordon could be worth a punt if he doesn't retire

Andrea Agnelli: ""Rangers are the old lady of not just Scottish, but British football. We are honoured to be working with the club in the aim to improve the young players of both clubs who will hopefully become the next generation of gifted European players.

We'll do whatever we can to give our players valuable experience & at the same time lead Rangers back to the main leagues where they belong"

    Usual media BS I think.

Because why would Juve be even remotely interested in youngsters from Glasgow ?

I think they noticed that Juventus used Auchenhowie to prepare for the game against Celtic, that Rangers allegedly provided them with tapes about Celtic's style of play and then say 'What else could we do to milk this story... Wait, I got it, youth exchange program!'.
