    Hi guys, need advice.

I got a 7mb wifi router(€27.50 per month with the €100 router fee waived as I was upgraded) from wimax 12 days ago and it hasnt worked since day one, though sometimes its on for 5 mins then off for 5 mins or offf altogether.

Been on to wimax at least 10 times. Problem with royal hotel high site apparently. Today is my last day waiting as theyve promised to have an update.

So, whats the best options out there? Id rather not pay a lot more than €25-30 p.m. Preferably wifi router (7mb) that I can also plug to my pc via ethernet as opposed to a dongle that you can only use on one machine.

    Many thanks,
    Brian.

UPC Broadband is now available in Bray and has the fastest speeds.

They just can't be beaten at the moment for speed and is also very reliable (moreso than their TV service which I wouldn't use).

Wimax is a disaster and I would get rid of it if I were you.

Whoah they do 150mb now? Mad. Coulda really used that yrs ago when I was playin counter strike on dial up.

Update: Wimax fixed the problem finally. Guess Ill stick with wimax 7mb for €27.50 instead of plumpin out for the 50mb upc at €39....plus 45 installation plus 7.88 standalone charge. Is that 7.88 per month I wonder.

Also, gonna move house within a year hopefully so rather not get locked in.
