JVC stereo will play files from USB, but not from iPod/iPhone

    Ipods dont have MP3 or MP4 the use their own format AAC.

    It wont work unless the stereo is specifically designed to handle Ipod.

    Try using the AUX in port.

    All the music that's on my iTunes is synched to my iPod, and they're the same as are on my USB too, and they play fine?????

    There's no aux port on it :(

    The music structure on an iPod / iPhone is completely different to just have a folder full of music on a USB stick. Generally, there are folders within folders with more folders and most standard head units won't delve that deep.
