I remember watching wrestling as a youngster and then the parents got the bills from Cablelink. I kept thinking the amount of stuff you watched was related to the bill, so if you watched a lot it would cost a fortune.
Turns out it was a set price.

Morning all. I have a cold again, the one I've been trying to kick fully since before Xmas. Its just about gone and then comes back again
Anyone know any extreme ways of getting rid of a cold, cause I'm getting fed up of lemsips/cold and flu remedies/berocca etc.. :mad:
Its not even a proper cold, where i can justify a few days in bed to sleep it off, just a blocked nose and a lousy cough.. 0 -

I've been the same lately, but I started taking vitamin C (Tesco chewable tablets) when I felt the latest bout come on and it's really helped

I think I should be a majority shareholder in Bayer pharmaceutics with the amount of Berocca I've consumed in the last 6-8 weeks but its not helping 0 -
‘Tis! That’s a more extreme case, of course, but I do have a serious restaurant-visiting habit! One of my pet hates is paying good money, no matter how cheap, for average food. I’d much rather pay more to get good value.That's a fair amount it has to be said!
I would say one thing though - as somebody who used to spend up to €30 or so on cigarettes per week - it's easy to justify expenses thesedays, especially if it's on something nice like an evening out.
I think what I like about dining out most is the fact that you're just out and about, away from the house and someplace different
LOL, that’s mad: I have never smoked, but I have often used the money I could have spent on cigarettes to justify my extravagant tastes

TP, my pal’s been suffering with a cold since December. She says she’s nearly rattling with the amount of vitamins she’s taking!
