any of you folk playing the Yamaha LL16 acoustic guitar.
i want to replace the strings could never find the excellent strings that came with the guitar. i've replaced the strings several times but never found a string to match the originals.
so what do you lot reckon is the best strings for this particular guitar.
i'm sure you guys know that different guitars favour a particular string

tried
elexers 12
martin fbronz 12
few other brands which were crap.
any help greatly appreciated.

Have you tried different gauges? It might be a case that the stock strings were a different gauge and that's why the other strings don't feel as good for you.

As for brands, the Martins are good strings and not too expensive.

I'd suggest picking up a set of 11s and 13s and just try them out

thanks lads i did try different gauges not saying the guitar sounds bad with martins strings it sounds class, but i always though the original strings were by far the best
