A couple of years ago, an acquaintance began sending my sister very strange messages on Facebook. Things about how he lost his soul, she had the key to it, was all a bit strange.

Just give him the ****ing key.

My little cousin used to creep me out as a kid. He'd sit listening to static on the radio, to hear 'the people'. When we told him it was just static, he'd insist that there were voices there 'behind the noise'. He also loved animals, except one of our dogs. The dog was always friendly, so we asked him why he didn't like him. 'He used to be a bad person' he replied (he was four at the time). I realise that this was just a kid talking b0ll0cks but it still gave me the shivers :pac:

Jesus!!! They say kids are more in tune to the after life and all that kind of stuff but I'd have been creeped out beyond belief! This whole thread is terrifying me :|

When we go to bed at night the doors are opened and closed downstairs. Somebody moves around and makes noises. Swear to God.

one time, at around 4 or 5 in morning (I was 15 at the time mucking about with some of the lads) we got chased by this man. we saw him a bit behind us, strolling in our direction when he suddenly broke into a sprint. he beat the piss out of one of my friends whilst we sprinted off to hide.

one of my mates in front of me stopped to check things out when this insane prick charges at us. one of us jumped over a bunch of bushes, caught his leg on a wire and split his lip open. the lad in front of me went through a shed roof and fell forward whilst I jumped over him. this guy was ****ing growling at me, no ****! must've been on drugs or something. this literally came out of nowhere, an unprovoked assault.

we ended up shoddily hiding behind a bunch of bricks in a garden a ways away from our houses, but were partially exposed. this ****er went driving around in an SUV looking for us. if he had simply gotten out of the car, I've no idea what would have happened. stabbed? battered? kidnapped? raped? it was ****ing scary by all accounts.
we ended up going back to one of my friends' house at 6 in the morning or so and escorted another mate back to his house, carrying around a baseball bat roaming the streets.

most ****ed up situation i've ever been in.

I was discussing this thread with a mate of mine over the weekend, He reminded me of something he did when we were only kids.

He was about 7 or 8 at the time, His Dad was a gardai and was working nights, He got up around 6 in the morning and was going downstairs to watch tele before he had to get ready for school. When he was walking down the stairs he seen a hand reaching through the small pane beside the door, They had broken through the glass and were unlocking the front door.

He ran down and put the latch on the door and only for him who knows what would have happened.

He must have good instincts he was in town then with his Mam a few years later and some junkie tried to rob their car at a set of traffic lights on the quays,He said the guy was fairly out of it and was trying to open the door so he slammed the door open and hit the guy with the door, He then pulled it shut and locked it.

    Crazy shtuff altogether!

About six years ago my parents were going away and they didnt want me to stay by myself as I was 7 months pregnant all during it I felt like someone was with me id see black shadows and quickly look behind me with no one there, so I went to stay in my aunties house.

I grew up around this house as it was were my nanny lived and my dad grew up in, so I arrived at the house and my auntie brought me upstairs were i was going to be sleeping and she brought me into my nannys old room were in, I had watched her die at home to cancer i was a bit nervous staying in the room because it brought back bad memories of that day.

So that night when I was in bed I took me a while to get to sleep but I finally did.

I was woken up by what i heard someone calling my name I opened my eyes and nothing there so I closed my eyes I heard it again so this time when I opened my eyes I was frozen in the bed I couldnt move and sitting at the side of the bed was a sillohette of my nanny white like she was floating and she smiled but at that point I was terrified I think it was the shock of what ive seen but I closed my eyes and when I opened she was gone till this day I wished id have just relaxed and said hello back.

When I was 10 I was kicking a football in an alleyway near Broadstone. The end of the alleyway was an old shed with doors hanging off. I kicked the football into the shed. It was a bright summer day - but the inside of the shed was dark - but I could still see the ball. I walked over to picked it up there about a foot over me was the head of a man with no body looking right at me as if he hatred me.

I ran out and never went down there again.

in my sons last house often had a visitation by a spirit that would drift across his babies bedroom,at night as he had the baby monitor on he was so frightened he would rush up stairs to bring the baby down,i checked it out but the spirit never left any residue of its passing, this week he has rented another cottage and as it is next to a old church and cemetery he was worried he may have a ghost in it ,i was happy to say to him no it has not, yesterday i even walked the victorian graveyard to see if i could pick up on anything but everything seems to be ok

In the past I would have dismissed this as absolute rubbish, but not after I had a run in with a ghost myself about 2 years ago. It was a bus trip I'll never forget.
One night on the 41c a man sat beside me and started making conversation, I knew I recognised him but couldn't tell where from, until I realised it was the ghost of stephen gately. I just made out like I didn't notice and then got off at the next stop. Took me 2hrs to walk home.
I seen him again in the pavillions in swords, shopping in Jack and Jones.
Most of my clothes at the time where by J&J, but I'll never shop there again.
