Thailand oz or nz

    Hi

    I've been playing music for years now and am based in Galway.I've played in full bands and two pieces and have lots of experience .My last project was a very successful 2 piece but the lead singer has move abroad to play and im stuck in a bit of a situation.Due to circumstances im going back to college in sept so i would like to travel to thailand oz or nz to seek music work for the next 6 months.Would anyone have any info on place to play in these countries or music forums to get involved in ... im a lead guitarist but also sing {but not a lead singer} ..thanks for reading :)

    I guess you could just call into the Irish bars there and see if they're looking for anyone.

    There's also plenty Irish bars in the Canaries, Spain, etc. too - maybe not what you want but it's sunny and there's probably more gigs there than there might be in Thailand, Australia or New Zealand.
