I've been looking at manual man's team and we are extremely similar, same Captain - Walcott, same Vice Captain - Suarez, both also have Van Persie, Ba, Mata, Demel and Gibbs in our starting 11.

Basically it boils down to me - Frederici, Fellaini, Michu

v him - Begovic, Pienaar, Bale

    come on the Begovic!

Cazorla in for dgw, Mata back in next week.
Interestingly enough your team is almost identical to mine (different defenders from the same team) except I have Mata instead of Cazorla. Glad I'm not against you

I've been on to Paddy Power and he is already paying out on F1ngers this week, I don't see any way I can win.

they paid out on United last season...

just had a look at your team, suarez v norwich at home could destroy me! Cazorla for the dgw might be my best hope (if you don't bring him in before 11:30)...........game on!

I decided against Cazorla in for Bale and got the inspiring Joe Cole instead...... *cough*

It should be a very close tie.

The Verminator vs Wisdom and Davies
    Fellaini vs Bale
Cole vs he wont play....:D (maybe against the gunners)

Lads I threw together a script to give updated scores for everyone in the FSA Cup.

    See here: http://joehyland.ie/fsa/

I'll run the actual updating script several times during the day, it takes a minute to run so don't want it running every time the page loads.

What language are you using for the script?

With 8 players the same, including captain, my matchup is down to a 3v3!

Me: Vermaelen (possibly x2), Fellaini, Cole (possibly x2)

    Him: Davies (SWA), Wisdom, Bale

    :D

It should be a very close tie.

could be very close, we both captained walcott, both have michu, mata, rvp, stoke cs cover, chelsea cs cover and west ham cs cover.

as i said in the last post it's suarez i fear most, but you never know, joe cole could be the one to do it either in a dgw.

here's the differnces we have in our starting 11's

    YeatsCounty...........Me
    Jussi (dgw)............Begovic
    Cameron...............Demel (dgw)
    Azpilicueta.............A.Cole
    B.Davies................Sagna (dgw)
    J.Cole (dgw)...........Cazorla (dgw)
    Bale.......................Fellaini
    Suarez....................Ba

the first 3 there pretty much cancel each other out, (barring a goal, assist, sending off)
I should get more from sagna v davies but not much, can't see them keeping a cs against chelsea and possibly won't v west ham either.
Cole v cazorla could go eitherway, cole could do very well v qpr and cazorla could do very well v west ham.
Bale v fellaini, Bale is at home but against a tougher team, fellaini away to a weaker team, could go eitherway but right now i'd take a draw from that points wise.
Suarez v ba, upperhand to you, no question about that, a possible 12-20 point haul, would be surprised if Ba got more than 6-7, maybe only 1 if he doesn't start.

Didn't see this, yeah only 3 different players. Don't expect Cole to play ahead of Chamakh but maybe against Arsenal. Never scores anyway! Could be a tight one this! Good luck

Me and my opponent have 7 identical players in our starting 11s and we both have Walcott captained. So it comes down to my Reid (dgw), B. Davies, Bale and Berbatov against his Demel (dgw), Zabaleta, Fellaini and Suarez. I'm probably the underdog but anything can happen and I expect some surprises this week.

davies has just scored and hasn't conceded yet, not really going to plan that one.

Looks like my game comes down to Bale and BP's,i aint got Bale but think we have the same players tomorrow......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,267 ✭✭✭✭manual_man

    Davies :D

Ha. i'd checked that. you're through bar for some major Pienaar and Bale points scoring

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,683 ✭✭✭✭wonski

I have 21(-4) with Walcott(C), Gibbs, Wilshere, Fellaini, Lambert and Van Persie to play, also Demel to play again (hope he gets 1), my opponent has Walcott(C), Santi Cazorla, Mata, Podolski, Van Persie and Ba to play, also Demel and Tomkins to play again.
To be honest for me the cup starts tomorrow. All depends on Chelsea performance.
Average will be very high this week - given that most people got 20 from 3-4 players and lot of games left to play.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,605 ✭✭✭Fizman

    my team v fizman
    Szecsney
    luiz demel williamson
    mata bale fellani walcott capt
    rvp aguero sturridge
only fear is aguero not starting but want him for the long haul anyway.

    :)

Owen scoring in the last kick was a balls for me (Davies), but I have a decent lead. You need big points from Szcz, Luiz and Fell......which could easily happen!

Confident after today but the same applies as from the beginning, Walcott could swing the game in my opponents favour.

Not having it all your own way F1ngers? I fancy myself to come through this now, looking even better in my other cup match, looks like I could be a cup specialist;)
I left Davies on my bench but Fletcher is doing great work for me since I got him in two weeks ago
