I am looking to do a PHD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. I have already done a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science and a Masters in Computer Engineering. I am currently working for a computer company but really want to get back into research and would also like to teach. Just looking for advice on where to look I have tried college websites but they don't seem to update too often.

Go abroad to do your PhD would be my advice. Best decision I ever made.

I wouldn't go ruling out positions of interest in Ireland just because they're not abroad.

OP, there are a whole load of websites that list PhD positions. I would recommend www.jobs.ac.uk, which mostly lists positions in the UK & Ireland. Also, have a look at the Nature Jobs site and New Scientist jobs classifieds.
