I've googled and youtubed but haven't found an answer that works.
I just want to set the odometer to 0 and keep all my other settings intact - anyone know how?
I tried holding down start/stop at the same time as lap/reset and power button but it didnt work.
    Thanks.

    The EDGE 800 pdf manual.....

    http://www.manualowl.com/m/Garmin/Edge-800/Manual/133444

Scroll to the bottom of the pdf manual and in the index under "D" you'll find Deleting. It may contain the info you need.

Thanks, I could only see info on deleting history of previous activities not resetting the odometer, maybe it's cos I'm looking at info via iphone

I have the 500 version, I haven't tried deleting/resetting anything as of yet though.

Having looked at the manual of the 800 I linked to above it seems you can delete files when it is connected to your computer using the software.

If you find out how to do it I would appreciate it if you would post how you managed to do it, thanks.

I've just discovered how to do it, so for anyone else who googles and finds this page:
Menu- spanner- bike settings- bike profiles- click your bike- bike details- odometer and set to zero- voila.

    Toolls/bike Settings/bike profiles/select which bike/bike details/odometer.

You can set the value to zero or any other value
