    Hey Folks

I've decided to do a bit of radical (for a novice) guitar customization and i'm looking for a bit of advice when it comes to choosing parts, setup etc.

Base guitar is a Ibanez GRG270.

    I'm planning on the following

1: Body Modifications - Add two more pots, change from a HSH setup to HH, increase the rear cavity to accommodate upgraded electronics and add a battery box.

2: Paint job - TBC but the body has been stripped down already

3: Electrics - Upgrade the stock ibanez pups to EMG zakk wylde active pickups with separate controls for each humbucker.

4: Tremelo - Add an all parts tremel-no

Any thoughts, advice or suggestions on the above before i put in the order for parts would be much appreciated

Stewmac are good but not cheap.

ebay will provide most of any bits you'll need.

    guitarelectronics.com for the wiring diagrams.
