Similar to the rest of you am devouring end of year lists..taking the plunge on a few downloads...tempted by this band from Wrexham (best thing there since mickey adams apparently).
Now wtf is going on in Wales ..between these and future of the left some seriously great edgy music emanating from the place.

Only finally getting around to Deerhunter, I had Halcyon Digest in my Amazon wish list for over a year and finally picked it up this week - an incredible album and this is one of my highlights - although I love instrumentals, I really feel this track could have had an instrumental interval for a few minutes but gone back to maybe the chorus again before finally ending... the song could easily have worked out to 10 minutes or so.

Fantastic to hear Donal Dineen on 2FM again last night, picked up a lot of stuff as a result of his shows many years ago. Looks like it will be the case again.

Nice Krautrock buzz going on, looking forward to being able to justify the spend on this album! Geoff Barrow of Portishead is one of the people involved here.
