I highly recommend PJS, he runs lessons from outside Greenacres shopping centre, I passed my test using his car last year, lessons are about €60 for two hour slots, you can also rent his car for the test, try him on his mobile

    A satisfied customer

Paul, could you not have just paid for an ad, its quite obvious that you have some connection to the driving school you are plugging

Leo Gartland, have been going to him for the last few months and he is brilliant. One week he couldn't take me and I went with someone else and it showed me how brilliant Leo is. You normally get 70mins for a one hour lesson.

    Other people recommending him

I will PM you with his mobile number.

    Hi,

This post is probably closed because its so old but here goes.... I've just moved to Dundalk and I'm looking for a driving instructor. Can anyone recommend one? I had a bad experience in Dublin when I tried to learn before. I came across these in google - http://www.drivinglessonsdundalk.ie/home/ - has anyone used them before??

    Thanks in advance,
    Denise

Haven't used those so can't say.

Gary McBride is very good - check out his website here

Or try the Aviva Driving School, I had Colin who was absolutely brilliant. I can pass on his details to you privately if you want. Just need to check with him first

I used MotorED and passed my test first time. They are excellent. Very friendly and patient.

From my own experience I found it beneficial learning with one instructor and doing pretests with another to get a different angle!

I used Leo mentioned above for my pretests – was very good

I think my instructors name was Joe Austin- he was fantastic. Id been driving an auto when I booked my test and moved to a manual 5 weeks before it. He got me through it and I passed first attempt with only 2 blue marks. Delirah
