Internet Explorer New Window URL

In Internet Explorer, when you open a new window it goes, by default, to the same URL as your existing window. Does anyone know of any setting anywhere in the preferences that can be altered to control this?

there's prolly an app out there that does it, or a value you could change with regedit.
i just keep a shortcut to ie in my quicklaunch bar & use that for opening new windows
