Dubai Airport - distance from terminal 1 - 3

Hi all, I am about to book a flight but am concerned with the stopover time. Flying from Adelaide to Dublin with Emirates, stopover in Dubai is 1 hour and 25 min. Arriving terminal 1 and departing terminal 3. Has anyone here had a similar stopover and was it long enough?? Thanks W:D

It's a tight stopover for such a busy airport, but you should be grand. The terminals mentioned on tickets refer to where you'd check in or collect bags, so aren't meaningful about where you transfer. The main gate concourses in Dubai are all connected together - in all likelihood you'll arrive into Concourse B (the main Emirates concourse), and depart from B or C. They are in the same massive long building. Everything is well signposted, but be prepared for some serious walking!
