Always rely on Martin O Neill for a decent cup run, rarely puts out weakened sides in these games like so many other premier league managers do.

    pp special

Valencia, Athletico Madrid and Malaga all to win.

Most doubt over Athletico considering they're playing away to Mallorca, but @ 9/1 I think it's worth a shot.

Reading are 7/5 to beat 1st division Crawley town. Thinking of putting a decent single bet on this, Anyone any opinions on this?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 4,584 ✭✭✭Rekop dog

Newcastle are weak but 5/4 draw no bet against a midtable championship side is still a bet imo.

FA cup so im not betting myself. Could be value in Leeds with so many players out for Birmingham and Warnock loves the cup

Anybody think Chelsea 8/13 looks good. Benitez is good in cups and needs a win can see a strong team out. Also Swansea 12/5 at home to Arsenal Wenger usually plays youngsters although i suppose he will want to win a cup.

Levante UD v Athletic Bilbao KO 16.00
Big odds for Levante today (seen 2.47 on Oddsportal)
Historically, Levante have only beaten Bilbao once at home (last season & have never beaten them away.
However, in the last 8 home games they've won 5 & draw 1 (2 loses Vs, Real & Barca)
    Bilboa's last 8 away: lost 5, drew 1

Levante to win is 2.46 on Pinnacle
Levante AH 0, still great value is 1.78

    Lazio v Cagliari Calcio 20.45
Lazio don't have the best H2H against Cagliari (from 5 home games, 3 wins & 2 loses), but they are on a mighty bit of home form, 8 wins and 1 draw from last 10, those 8 games all won by 1 goal or more. They've only not scored once in last 10 home games & have score 2 goals or more in 7/10

    Lazio AH -1 1.94 Pinnacle

    Ive done Messi score/win 2/7, falcao score/win 7/4, soldado anytime 6/4,and van persie a/t 4/5, hernandez score/win 7/4 if they start

    Checked that alright,
    http://www.soccerway.com/matches/2013/01/05/spain/primera-division/levante-union-deportiva/athletic-club/1323123/

Levante missing two first-teamers, Bakero (mid/17apps) & striker Martins....that's a worry, Martins has scored 6 goals
Bilbao tho are missing a few too, Aurtenetxe (def/11games, & two midfielders who are in and out of the team (only 5 & 3 apps each)

However, I still can see them doin it, Bilbao are on a bad run, only 1 away clean sheet all season too & y'know first home game back after break Levante will want to impress and whoever comes in for Martins will be gunning to keep his place.

I just read that last year these two teams already met in the cup and Savigneux won 2-1 (thanks to an amazing free kick at the 91st min), so now I'm even more confident about Venissieux not losing this game. They'll want to take their revenge tomorrow. Also, this is a historical game for both teams and so they'll probably play very cautious and it should go to extra time/penalties. Double chance looks very good imo.

Savigneux gone from 4/6 to 11/10. Also removed from all bookies except for PP who have removed the double chance.:(

Fairly shocking lineup by Wigan. Anyone know the best odds on Bournemouth?
