board game geek traders

I wanted to start a thread for anyone interested in trading board games. Board game geek runs a great way of doing this...thru direct trades or thru math trades. If there was enough interest from local Irish gamers, we could try a math trade eventually.

But for now I'm just looking to see if anyone out there uses boards and bgg and might be interested.

(Mods sorry for starting a new thread, but I didn't think the other one was really targeting the same thing I am trying to do... Bgg will list ALL your existing collection, and allow you to search others, and to find exactly what each is willing to trade.)

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I am seeing a marked increase in trade offers since I started this thread. Maybe there are more lurker a than posters?

I have been fortunate so far to have only had good experiences with trading on bgg and all my trades have been uk so far. Mrtimewalk has been trading a lot longer at this stage he has had dozens of good trades, and I think never been burned.

Keep posting links to your collections people, long term we might be able to start a math trade here.

I don't think my list is up to date on BGG but I have a great copy of King of Tokyo that is getting very little play if you're interested in trading... where are you based?

My group are not the most enthusiastic of board games most of the time and the economic theme of Imperial is not something that I can seem to muster much interest in. So I've never played it.

Pity that, it is very popular in our group. Cant play it often, but can keep coming back to it for sure.

Remember. ITS NOT YOUR COUNTRY!

Invest in other players, and certain countrys always do better unless managed badly. Try only investing enough to not control any country and stay swiss. That tactic is known as the drax in our group.

Edit: if you prefer, take a look at my list and ill swap you for it... Even if just for the holidays!
