George McFly in BTTF II is not the same actor as George McFly in BTTF (Crispin Glover).

    Yes. imdb.com it!

Always thought his make-up was shít when he's old in 2015 and his picture looks weird in the newspaper. Turns out its coz it's a different actor! Glover wanted a million dollars to reprise his role and they told him to take a hike. Then he sued them because of using his likeness in another film.

That there is a far simpler explanation as to why the Dubliners were on Jools Hollands hootenany (new years eve countdown show) and on stage at The Gathering in college green a few minutes later last night.
    It doesn't involve helicopters :(
    Hootenany was recorded

Glover is brilliant and quite mad. I love him, even in terrible movies.

Always has been and it's been caught out a few times with guests on other shows at the same time. A good number of the guests from last night's show were also on the "biggest quiz of the year" - or whatever it's called - the night before, and in the same clothes!

Had thought that I needed a special ariel to receive saorview. Only just got a saorview approved tv for the kitchen and tuned it in without getting a new ariel and its working perfectly. There was another saorview approved tv in one of the childrens rooms and only now realised that it could get the channels all along and could have been tuned a few months ago.:o:o:o

Found another set of plug sockets in the kitchen the other day in my parents house. 30 years they've been there!!

If that's all they have to offer, then who would? But most people are quite complex, and being a "nice guy" combined with other traits can be a very attractive combination.

    Maybe that's the problem?

I'm aware of one particular franchised electrical retailer that's been peddling that myth for months, selling expensive "digital aerials" when a pair of €5 rabbits ears from the euro shop will do just as good, or even your existing aerial connected to a saorview compatible tv!

I've always called "Abrakebabra" "Abrakadabra" no ones ever told me I was saying it wrong. It took me up until I had to study a case study on it in business but I only noticed it was actually "Abrakebabra" during the exam as I was checking I spelt it correctly.

I've just realise that they weren't done for false advertising/mis informing the customer with the untruths they were peddling

Your response is my fault for not offering more context. I am a nice guy, and always have been, even when looking on somewhat confused as the types who would repeatedly insult and disrespect a girl in public still end up bringing her home.

So, as a subtle test - in contrast to all of my usual sensibilities, I did put on the asshole act a few nights back, with result.

So please, don't throw around that 'cave-man' analysis so easily, I've always been known as a true gent - thought recently I've started to wonder if it's the best option ...

I still can't believe that americans actually spell things the original english way and it's the english that later changed to be more like french type spelling, I used to think it was just the americans fooking up more shiit.

There was a clothes shop on Liffey St in Dublin

Every day for over two years was a big sign "Closing Down Sale"

FFS, either this shop has a warehouse of stock or it's false advertising

Later found out that's the name of the shop
    Sly ;)

Count Rugen from The Princess Bride is played by Christpher Guest, aka Nigel Tufnel from Spinal Tap. I seriously never realised this despite having seen both films several times :o

I only realised the other day that Inigo Montoya was played by Mandy Patinkin (Saul from Homeland)

It's a different actress playing Jennifer, Marty's girlfriend, too. They had to reshoot the scene from BTTF that's repeated at the start of BTTF II and everything. I didn't notice it was a different actress until I saw pictures of them both side by side :o They look fairly alike though...
