Noob help - How do I connect this up? (speakers)

    Got these off a friend, I have 0 knowledge of this kinda stuff but I'd like to see if they work! :)

    Ive attached pictures of the cable ends below, any help is appreciated! (ie where I plug them in etc)

    The info I can find is extremely limited unfortunately! They are Aiwa floor speakers.

    Is it possible to be able to set it up like an amp, I'd like to able to hook up a laptop/computer but the 2 cables are a bit confusing!

    So you just have a pair of speakers then ?
    Did they come with some sort of sound system/stereo ?
    Do you have an amplifier to connect them to ?
    Is there a sticker anywhere on the speakers you could photograph and post here ?

    Any/all info you can supply would help.

    Just the speakers yes.
    Nope, no sound system or anything unfortunately.
    The only amps I have are guitar amps, but none of the cables fit (I tried)
