I am currently working part time and getting part time JSA.

I have been offered a part-time job to start in january which will offer me better hours and pay and allow me to continue getting part time JSA.

However due to shift clashes I would not be able to work both jobs together.

My question is if I quit the job i'm in now and take this new job will social welfare be alright with this as I am simply changing jobs and still fit their criteria?

    Thanks.

was in the same situation, back in sept, was working a night job 2/3 nights per week ,couldnt hack the nightwork so found myself a retail day job, similar amount of hours also 2/3 days although slightly less pay as I wasnt getting a night premium, informed the s/w and they gave me a casual workers form to get filled in by my new employer which i did then handed it back to the sw.
I then quit the night job and started the day job the next day,my payments carried on as normal as there was no period of unemployment I was even told to use the same yellow dockets from the other job until i got issued with new ones.
