Bringing "unmarked "book into exams

    Anyone have experience of bringing own books into an exam...is highlighting permitted??thanks

    Possibly depends on the lecturer.
    Any time we've brought in books or conventions etc into an exam. Underlining and highlighting was permitted, but no writing on the material was allowed.

    Likewise, highlighting is generally no problem.

    Depends on the lecturer. This year I have one that I'm only allowed the module slides, no annotations of any type while the other module is literally anything you want (A book and one folder but no restrictions either)
