Gerkros Technician - FIRST CLASS SERVICE ...ON A SUNDAY!!!

09-12-2012 04:00PM#1Being a pet of a winter's Sunday I decided to undertake a thorough service/ cleaning of my Gerkros 30kw Wood Pellet boiler. It needed it badly and I was going great guns until it came to the delicate task of re-instating the Blast Board (across from the burner) when the cursed thing decided to split in two!
I decided for safety reasons to leave it off and turn to the Oracle when it comes to Gerkros Boilers, I phoned <SNIP>. No reply, ( well it is Sunday afternoon ) so I left a message on his Voicemail. Long story short, <SNIP> called me back, we discussed the situation. He suggested a work-around until Wednesday when he will be with me to give my machine a full overhaul.
