that new Car Smell or the smell you get after a valet - what is it?

Hi all,
stupid question i know but would love to know.
My wife bought a 2nd hand car last year from a garage and it was valeted / detailed before we picked up. there was a lovely smell from either the cleaner used inside or something like that. What is used to get that new car smell? could you get it as an air freshener?

any ideas would be great.

CleanCar.ie sell a spray air freshener called New Car Scent which is very good and smells great. It's very strong but not the cheap kind of strong. One spray under each seat will have the car smelling new in seconds

The best whiff for your car that lasts ages that I have come across are California car scents
