Absolutely- I think the problem with children's tv now is that so many of the presenters are so vacuous, and treat the kids like they don't understand anything.

Think of the best children's tv- Ian Dempsey, Ray D'arcy, Andy Peters, Ant and Dec- they all treated kids like adults but more fun. TV producers need to give kids more credit.
