    I see on the BBC gossip site, Darren Bent's name being mentioned as a loan signing in Jan. I won't even link the story as it's more than lkely nonsense with no quotes.

    Certainly wouldn't be anywhere near first choice of striker we need, but he can score goals. Better than getting nobody.

    I'd be open to a loan move for 6 months if the manager had a top striker lined up in the summer that he really wanted.

    A loan signing like that would be perfect, with no obligation to buy its a win-win situation. Bent will score goals, not the amount someone like Huntelaar would get but if it meant a better signing in the summer then i would definitely be all for it.

    I'd rather a decent loan deal in January rather than signing someone just for the sake of it. If it means waiting until the summer to get the striker BR wants then someone like Bent on loan wouldn't be that bad. Has something to prove now, will want to get back in the England squad too.

    Reina showed signs of his old self at the weekend which was good to see.

    Jose Enrique claims he never feared for his Liverpool future and is enjoying life at the club.

    The Spaniard appeared to have fallen out of favour at Anfield after a slump in form but is back in the team and performing impressively for the Reds.

    "Football is for moments and now I am playing well so I hope I can continue like this and help the team as much as possible," he said.

    "Last year, up to December, I played really well and then I don't know why I dropped my form.

    "Now I've started to do it again and it is more important to think in the present and live from now and I will try to do my best now.
