    Do ya remember before where a single fella who had trouble finding a girl did a show on RTE / TV3 or whichever channel looking for a girlfriend, did he actually end up with anyone can ya remember? (I think he was an aspiring Comedian if I recall.)

    Usually second weekend of December, so it'll be probably be like 9th December ish. Lads in student accommodation have had the place kitted out for a couple of weeks now...

    When is the earliest yet most socially acceptable date to put them up?

    Yes. Facebook/Twitter/Boards/Ask.fm are my Bookmarks on Google Chrome and I have Twitter, Facebook and Boards on my phone. :)
