I have an old O2 usb dongle stick for internet.

Can I use an O2 hotshot modem along with the O2 USB stick and make my old PC a wi-fi receiver.

I have an old desktop with no Wi-Fi, will the O2 usb modem work as a wifi receiver

Please don't double post with the same problem.

The answer is No. However if you purchase something like this:

http://www.komplett.ie/Komplett/product/network_adapters/13550109/d_link_wireless_n_usb_adapter_dwa_140/details.aspx

You can then easily add your pc to a wifi network. Get a long USB extension chord too and it will give you positioning options.
