    Awec :D
It's still on the go too, though they PC'd it up a bit, lot of the old characters are gone.
Yeah, but, Kitten, in 20 years time technology will be such that there'll be young ones who'll think you were educated on papyrus. :pac:

I feel this is appropriate here (yes, I've both worked out how to do that link thing and spent a lot of time listening to Disney today, in my defense I'm teaching it!)
Well, not that song, but other ones. Anyway. Never can have enough Disney.

Love it! But don't start giving me more ideas :pac:
Secondaries yeah, primaries usually not, and not in this one anyway. Besides, can always download videos if I have.

kkk was right I did in fact collapse again - went for a nap earlier!

I liked it Pem, nice enough city but had one or two horrible taxi drivers to deal with, barring that enjoyed it but learned a good bit, would plan it much differently if I was to head again, spent a fortune :(

hope y'all had good weekends btw!

    Also Ann & Barry ftw

Bad one Daisies...try walking around with your hands behind your head, elbows pointing out to each side.

    Morning all :)

How is the stitch now D?

D'Agger that sucks about taxis, I just cycle when over there so don't have to deal with them.

D'Agger is right Kaimeria, 3 min into the journey would have sucked!

    CUTENESS :D

Well we walked everywhere else - but we had to get the taxis from the airport to the hotel as the shuttle bus was only once every hour and we kept just missing it! Can understand them being annoyed, waiting ages at the airport for a fare and then it's a quick, inexpensive journey - that said, tough shít, you can't be that rude to people and rip them off by not using a meter and pulling a price out of thin air.

Like I said, will stay centrally next time and get a bike to get around or something.

They tend to be very curt, it's not anything personal, it's just they way they are.

Also, I find in any country taxis rip off tourists

lol no pain no gain though! Downloaded yogalates dvds to run through at home so plan on doing some of that most mornings and hitting the gym 2/3 times a week.

Have to head to Dublin tomorrow for work and it's going to kill me re:m diesel....so broke!

That's true, they're fairly blunt the Dutch, that said some of them were absolutely lovely - I maintain that it's the same in every country - you're going to meet nice people and you're going to meet absolute assholes - it's just the way people are, regardless of nationality!

Going by the threads here our taxi people aren't always the best greeters

Yeah I am thinking no pain no gain and am possibly going again this week :p
    And pilates on Saturday

Can't wait for massage on Saturday

Hope the massage is scheduled for after the pilates! Had a go at pilates a while ago, fracking hell! Intense, but worth it. Def would do it again if I had the time/money combo :p

I love pilates, haven't gone in a few weeks but I was going twice a week. Hopefully friend is better and we can go again this Saturday.
Massage is definitely afterward, the class is at 10am... lol

10am on a Saturday?! Fair play!*

I agree though, it is always more fun when you can rope someone else into going with you!

*I'll probably still be in bed :o

I suppose I was only looking at yogalates so it's probably easier but pilates doesn't seem all that from the exercises I've seen - that said I'm sure it's easier said than done and I was probably looking at novice stuff!

  • Posts: 81,310 CMod ✭✭✭✭ Randall Low Wig

Pilates is quite difficult, I find. Hobbling around afterward.
Seems ok until you're doing it in a very controlled and slow fashion, it's a killer.
If you just wave your arms and legs around at any old speed then it'd be grand ;p

    Feeling much better now TG.

Went home at lunch to find my toilet was leaking and had covered the floors. Luckily the floors in my house are polished concrete

waving arms?? Clearly I was looking at something more yoga than pilates - either way I just need to sort out my core. Was onto a buddy there about hitting the gym together so starting work for next season can begin this week!

Saw such a cute little kitten earlier, rolling around and went over to pet it. Only then did I realize it was completely blind and I had scared the bejesus out of it. Whoops.

Sorry but I laughed, the poor thing!

Going onto the aww thread in reddit is making me seriously want a puppy - only thing is whether I could give it a proper home - renting with 3mates, nice house and garden but I'd either have to leave the pup on its own during the day or put it in a kennel. Anybody have experience with this?

We got two puppies about 13 months ago. Honestly, unless there's going to be someone home during the day, I wouldn't recommend it. Dogs need company. We have a decent sized field closed off for them with a few sheds for shelter. They sleep in one of the sheds in a box dad made (complete with window and sky-light). But when you go to let them out in the morning they get ridiculously hyper when they see you. Even if you leave them in for maybe 2 hours during the afternoon, they get ridiculously hyper when they see you. They're absolutely mad for company. I couldn't leave them locked in for 6 or 7 hours a day five days a week. They'd be miserable.

I know that's not the answer you were hoping for D'Agger, but I hope it helps.

Ah no you're grand man, sure, id love one but i don't think it'd work given my current situation - with football and stuff and travel with work etc i couldn't do it.

That said, Id love the company of a dog!
