Shop fire in Arklow

I see the emergency services in attendance on Wexford Road in Arklow. From what I hear Kavanagh's shop was ablaze.

I saw a Garda car blocking off access to the Wexford Road from the Main Street roundabout. Hope it's not true about Kavanagh's.

It wasnt the shop but the building beside it that caught fire.

Gardai in Arklow are investigating a house fire on the Wexford road.

The fire which destroyed the unoccupied house next door to Kavanagh's shop started around 5pm on Tuesday.

Two units of the Arklow fire service attended the scene and searched the house.

Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed any activity around the house prior to the fire.
