Even as a Chelsea fan I found this funny

A fan in the Republic of Ireland has replicated one of this year's most popular online jokes during Sligo's League of Ireland triumph.
Sligo were actually beaten on the night by rivals Shamrock Rovers but had already secured the title, meaning there had been plenty of time to prepare for a party.
In fact a first half fireworks display forced a brief stoppage and police intervention before things got underway.
It is only the third time the club have been crowned champions, and the first since 1977. The only time came 40 years before that

That makes it even better. Injured the day we collect the trophy, should I wear a suit or my kit or should I go as John Terry?

Also more publicity than Sligo could have bought using all their prizemoney.

Whilst it's obvious you're being a troll such is what's wrong with modern football it would've got him a decent wedge anyway

    Stating the obvious really.

Or maybe I was highlighting the sad state of Irish football. Maybe?

It's last season's kit so he probably got it at a reduced price or maybe even someone lent it to him and he can still afford one meal a day....

The more subtle option would have been Ivanovic.:)

Are you naturally this stupid or what? Did you or did you not say that Davoren, who has just won the LoI so plays for the best team in the country and is a professional footballer, earns less than 100 quid a week I.e. The cost a Chelsea full kit

Oh so you're saying I'm stirring **** because I'm underselling the wages of a player.

I was referring to the sad fact that he probably doesn't get much money, no more than a normal person.

So you're saying a normal person doesn't own more than 100 a week?

No I'm saying that yer man probably will miss that 100 beans he spent on the kit, unlike a premier league footballer.

The jersey is like 3 years old and he is wearing Rovers shorts and socks.

    This argument is stupid.
