no big reaction to the poor week so far

Think in this opening 30 mins they've created more chances than they did in the whole match against Norwich, still a little sloppy though.

Santos makes me nervous every time he's near the ball.... and I'm not even an Arsenal fan :pac:

Am I the only one who thinks Carzola is overrated?

He's been pretty pants today, and against Schalke, but on form he is awesome

First half dozen and last half dozen matches for Arsenal is like 2 different players.

    More than likely :pac:

Looks like our forward line has forgotten what a decent cross into the box is like. Sagna has been so badly missed

Seems to be completely getting overshadowed by Wilshere today, but I thought he was decent anytime I have seen him play for you, just not the '16 and a half million pound bargain' Brian Kerr has pointed him out as.

First time Cesear holds onto the ball and Giroud was waiting

Not a bad first half still a bit thootless going forward
Jack has been very good but don't think he will last long looks fooked
Ramseys work rate is very good

Great to see Jack back alright lads. Just caught the tail end of the first half pretty poor again like the past few games. Cmon Arsenal pick it up in the 2nd half ffs!!!

Jack has 100% pass rate first half
    God I missed him

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,975 ✭✭✭iMuse

Jack Wilshere has completed all 33 attempted passes in the first half.

Very poor first half with Jack looking fairly sharp but still not a lot to enthuse about and no signs of urgency at all. Have we too many similar type players in the middle who seem to be getting into each other's way?
Santos wide open again and Ramsey has to always take 2 or 3 touches before passing thus slowing things up. He rarely gives a first-time ball.
The only good cross of the game for us was provided by Sanga.

That's disgusting by Granero, completely deliberate on a player who's been out for 17 months. Disgusting.

How have Granero and Diakite not been booked yet ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Wright Phillips with all the room in the World to make his cross

And to think people said we were overrating Jack just because he was out injured for so long.

9-8 in fouls to Arsenal, hilarious.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,382 ✭✭✭✭greendom

Giroud got the ball there and got booked. Even if it was a foul it was his first. Meanwhile Diakite and Granero are virtually in double figures with fouls and have 1 yellow card between them

Have we won any penalties this season out of curiosity?
