    Moving to Wexford town.:) We are interested in culture, music, library events, art projects, theatre, heritage etc.
    We would be happy to be volunteers in this environment.
    Have you any suggestions or recommendation?
    Where would there be social activities club/society for older people near Clonard?

    Wexford Town branch of Active Retirement Ireland meets in Clonard Community Centre.
    I'm not sure of day or time but drop into the centre, anybody will direct you.

    Thank you bmaxi. Its great to know we will not feel lonely.

    In Dublin we are participating in Theatre volunteering programme, involved in Front of House Team.
    Is it possible to find anything similar in Wexford?

    Has the Opera House any volunteering projects?

    Yes there is a volunteer programme for the Opera house including front of house, cloakroom, interval drinks, etc. I'm not sure who the best contact for this is though, maybe ask at the booking office desk in the Opera House itself? As the Opera Festival is starting next week there might be some opportunities for you (if you have moved to Wexford yet that is!) but they have other events during the year and use some of the Opera volunteers for that too.
