    Hi,

I am trying to connect a VCR to plasma display
The vcr has 2 scart outputs:
    • Ext 1 Scart: Audio L/R, CVBS in/out
    • Ext 2 Scart: Audio L/R, CVBS in/out

The tv has several inputs 223649.png

    I tired a scart adapter 25534d1275866694-koppla-iphone-till-modern-tv-rgb-scart-male-rca-female-adapter-converter-xs0032090106c.jpg
from the yellow output with a RCA cable to the video input with a BNC to RCA adapter. This didn't work.
I'm thinking one of these 30254220.jpg
with a s-video cable should work.
Anyone got any suggestions before I buy the two parts?

    Thanks,
    Dermot

Check the VCR manual and see if the first SCART port can be set to component rather than RGB for video output. If it can then you could buy a SCART to phono cable with at least output phono plugs for Audio L/R and the three component phono plugs for Pr/Pb/Y.

Thanks for your help, seems that it can't
    the specs list

    • Ext 1 Scart: Audio L/R, CVBS in/out
    • Ext 2 Scart: Audio L/R, CVBS in/out

Do you think S-video would work on the output from the VCR ?
