Looking to see if anyone had any problems with this stove, burning turf?

There was one post a few months back about not getting much heat?

I have narrowed down the search to this stove or a Mulberry Joyce 6.8KW , they're around the same price.

Ollie Colohan, Ballinasloe has the gabriel stove for around €420 + €25 for a length of flexi pipe.

    Hey OP,
Did you buy the Olymberyl in the end ? We were looking at it at the weekend, priced at €465 got him down to €400. Just wondering did you purchase and if so how do you find it ?

    ;)

Bought the Gabriel insert only last week.

Used it over the weekend - a) couldn't believe the difference it made to a previously cold room and b) couldn't believe the small amount of wood that we burned.

Tried it with BNM briquettes and was very impressed also - 6 briquettes for the evening (18.00 - 22.00) and the room was toasty.

    Very happy customer so far
