    Hi,

I currently work for a contract engineering company as a Controls Engineer. Most of my work involves travelling around the country which gives me a good wage with expenses on top of my basic salary.

I am looking for a permenant job in one location so i dont have to travel so much and live out of a suitcase.

I am trying to work out what kinda salary is the standard for a controls engineer with 5+ years experience and very good references in a typical multinational within ireland?

I've no idea to be honest. Your basic salary would be a good place to start. You could also go onto a few job sites and look to see what ball park any positions similar to what you're looking for are being offered.
