ICF vs timber-frame and block construction

    Hi all,
    I'm doing a report on alternative building methods and would like to do a short survey for those with ICF experience.

    1. Can you briefly explain the concept of ICF construction.

    2. Is it practical and cost effective compared to block or timber construction?

    3. What are the benefits (if any) of ICF construction?


    If anybody has any information they can share I would be grateful if you could send it to me, as all I can find companies that will only tell you one side to ICF.
