Problems with Docky in Fedora 17

Just installed Docky, I'm sure you've all heard of it, its a dock (!!!). Anyway it runs well, but when I click on its own icon in the dock and it brings up the settings, changing a few of them, such as 'Start docky on startup' crashes docky. Obviously this is super annoying as starting it on startup is pretty much a must-have feature. Any tips/workarounds?

Any crash messages? What's in logs?
Start it from a terminal - it might print some info what's wrong.
